We will be viewing Working Successfully with Same Sex Couples. This DVD demonstrates in two live sessions with Dr. Sue Johnson on how the power of EFT's attachment frame and interventions are equally relevant for gay, lesbian, and heterosexual couples. This video of a gay couple, Tim and Andrew, includes voice over commentary and a discussion with EFT therapists about responding to the unique challenges faced by same sex couples. In our discussion we will focus on the attachment issues unique to LGBT populations including internalized homophobia, coming out, and sexuality.
