Finding the Connection demonstrates the use of EFT with a couple where the husband has recently been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.  We will be viewing a portion of a Stage I session conducted by Yolanda von Hockauf, an EFT trainer from Vancouver, Canada.  Yolanda’s attunement and interventions beautifully demonstrate the effectiveness of EFT in a relationship complicated by the differences in thinking and feeling associated with the Asperger’s diagnosis.

Barbara George, LCSW, has maintained a private practice in Mt. Kisco, NY for over 25 years, working with both individuals and couples. Barbara has advanced training in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, graduating from the Westchester Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in 1985.  She began training in Emotionally Focused Therapy when Sue Johnson conducted her first training in NYC in 2008, is now a Certified EFT Therapist and Approved Supervisor Candidate.
