Melorra Sochet is certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and is an Approved Supervisor Candidate. She has completed all levels of Relational Life Institute Training and is certified by the Ackerman Institute for the family in divorce mediation. Melorra also has training in relational and interpersonal psychoanalysis and integrates this knowledge into her work. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, Melorra practiced law for many years and was selected for the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s national leadership development fellowship. She uses this experience to assist people struggling in competitive and pressurized work environments and careers. Melorra works with couples, individuals and supervisee’s in her private practice in the Flatiron District.
