Join us for our second EFT Video Friday in Brooklyn, NY!

These events take place monthly to give the greater New York City EFT Community a chance to watch training tapes together with a Certified EFT Therapist moderating the discussions.

Emotionally Focused  Couples therapy 

We will be viewing a portion of: Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy with Sue Johnson, Ed.D.  Couples Therapy with the Experts Video Series. 2001. 
Stage 1 of EFT with Scott and Leslie
In this live session, Sue works with Scott and Leslie, a couple stuck in a negative cycle that includes Scott's potential for violence when angry and shame around having "sissy" emotions and Leslie feeling fed up and threatening divorce.  This session beautifully demonstrates Step 2 of EFT (tracking negative cycle), as well as first attempts at identifying primary emotions in Step 3.

Carolyn McIntyre, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW-R, and Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, has been providing counseling and seminars for about 30 years.
