EFT in Action

We will be viewing a portion of: Emotionally Focused Therapy in Action. In this DVD Training Video, Dr. Sue Johnson conducts an actual session with a challenging couple haunted by the "echoes of war". In a single session, she helps them conceptualize their conflicts in attachment terms, gain an understanding of their negative cycle and begin to reveal some of the vulnerable feelings that underlie their explosive anger. Clinicians will leave with a clear understanding of the subtlety and efficacy of EFT, including cycle identification and the emotions that drive the cycle.

Facilitator and Moderator:

Heidi Siebert, LMFT is a certified EFT Supervisor and Therapist, with a private practice in Norwalk, CT where she works with couples, families, individuals. She is also an adjunct instructor in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Southern Connecticut State University, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and a certified Gestalt therapist.
