NYCEFT Quarterly Seminar

"Trauma and its transmission: second generation Holocaust survivor men in EFT couple therapy."

When: Friday, March 28 3:30-5:30 PM
(note different time)

Where: Birch Family Services
104 West 29th Street (at Sixth Ave.)
2nd Floor Training Room

The presenter will demonstrate how past trauma emerges in the life of the second generation Holocaust survivor men and how it manifests itself in their adult intimate relationship.  The EFT model allows us to show how subtle the differences are in the attachment longings for these men.  EFT couple therapy provides the hope that the second generation men will be liberated to experience their own vulnerabilities and, in return, to pursue their own voices in intimate relationships. Presentation will include video segments of EFT sessions.
