Expanding EFFT: untangling and securing family bonds.


George Faller is no stranger to taking on a fire or an emotional storm a family therapy session can be.  He grew up in a large family and spent most of his life working as a lieutenant in the NY Fire Department.  Families can present with complicated intergenerational stories of trauma and insecurities, multiple crises, and broken bonds.  This seminar will demonstrate through presentation and video segments the application and expansion of traditional Emotionally Focused Family Therapy.



Presenter

George Faller, LMFT is a marriage and family therapist and certified EFT trainer, supervisor and therapist. He is also a Lieutenant in the NYC Fire Department and has extensive training in working with traumatized couples providing post-deployment retreats for military couples. He trains and supervises clinicians in EFT in the U.S and abroad. His private practice is in NY and CT.
